Event Description
Fingerstyle guitarist Brooks Robertson will be teaching a workshop welcome to guitar players of all levels. With an emphasis on learning and improving valuable right hand techniques (patterns, banjo rolls and various dynamic approaches) there will also be a discussion of building “simple” chords across the neck and strings. Additional topics will include guitars/gear and performance tips. If you are a beginning guitarist interested in learning fingerstyle or an experienced player there is something in class for you.
Techniques will include those innovated by such legendary Guitarists as Chet Atkins, Merle Travis, Jerry Reed, Buster B. Jones, Tommy Emmanuel and many more.
